The Xplorace app provides the possibility of virtual races for sport events. You can take part in a race just with your phone on predefined tracks or wherever you want to run for all event that support the xplorace app.
If you want to prepare yourself for a race you can also do so and do a training.

Note: Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
